While in Hawaii and staying at the Sheraton Kaanapali, my husband and I passed over a beautiful Koi pond filled with hungry Koi. When I went over to the edge of the pond to take pictures, the Koi thought that I was going to feed them and there became a “frenzy” of Koi. I have at least 10 more photo’s to paint from. I especially love the big blue Koi in the center. This is a watercolor painted on Arches 300# cold press watercolor paper. I mainly use Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors, but a few are Winsor & Newton watercolors.
