The subjects are a mother and a baby Egret from a photo by John Cameron. Karen Sistek did the same picture, but realistically (extremely beautiful). I put the photo through an application to change the colors and design, then painted it. It took me 2 months to paint (I paint 2-3 hours every day). It’s done on 16 mm Habotai with Dupont and Jacquard Red Label dyes. I mounted it on a 30x40 canvas and painted the area around it black.
