This is not a watercolor, but an acrylic on clayboard. I haven't done many acrylics and it isn't as easy as it may look. Acrylics are the opposite of watercolor - opaque vs transparent. This painting is of all the dogs my husband and I have had through the years. He wanted a painting of them for his 65th birthday. So.....happy birthday Bob!
